Porcelain Done Right — From City Courtyards to Bushland Retreats

Porcelain paving might not be the first thing people think of when upgrading their outdoor space, but it’s one of the smartest.

In this recent collection of projects, Bryce Minett Landscaping used premium outdoor porcelain pavers across three very different sites — each one proving just how adaptable, tough and good-looking this material can be.

1. South Melbourne – Inner City Courtyard Elegance

  • A tight courtyard with tricky access.
  • Porcelain pavers + Bluestone retaining walls added polish without feeling overbuilt.
  • Custom Merbau decking refreshed the entry point and added warmth.
  • The result? A small, clean space that feels bigger, brighter and far more usable.

2. Warrandyte – Acreage Rejuvenation

  • Old, tired pressed concrete around the pool was bringing the whole space down.
  • Enter non-slip porcelain paving: modern, strong, and built for bush settings.
  • Paired with rebuilt decking and garden edges, the whole area now feels curated—not just functional.
  • Bonus: new glass fencing adds transparency and safety without cluttering the view.

3. Surrey Hills – Spa Zone with a Twist

  • This one was a challenge—tight turns, awkward levels and existing infrastructure.
  • But with a bit of patience and a lot of skill, we installed porcelain pavers around the spa, blending into the new deck and stepping zones.
  • The detail? Everything lines up, drainage works, and it looks effortless.

💡 Why Use Porcelain Outdoors?

  • Tough as nails — scratch-resistant, non-slip, and weatherproof.
  • Consistent colour and texture for a premium look.
  • Low maintenance and won’t age like concrete or natural stone.
  • Versatile — works with decking, retaining walls, pool zones, or courtyards.
